Lost Humans

Some cats have lost their simians. This is upsetting. Please keepst an eye out for Fluffy and Quirky. Their felines miss them, and love them.

I'm upset, I'm going to tear something.

Many thanks Mao. Mayhap when we meet I can thank you appropriately with the obvious gift of salmon. Do you only like it in oily raw format or do you also enjoy the smoked, the cured, the roe, the pan fried or the baked in paper with goats cheese and garlic?

Time to start thinking about dinner.

I LOVES it all. Raw is, of course, the best.

You must go to a grogblog, I will send my master to fetches whatever you bring me.

8 lives of luck to you fluff, I hope you are found soon.

    Most esteemed Mao,

I am pleased to make your acquaintance. Quirkie refers to me as the junior furkid. I allow her this irreverence because of her inferior intelligence and her propensity for offering tidbits.

Although I did have a certain affection for the missing feline, I feel really the time has come for the simians to pay complete homage to me and me alone.

However, they are acting more erratically than usual. Indeed, I felt it my duty to follow them for two whole blocks while they persisted in searching for the missing competitor. I would, therefore, appreciate your assistance in doing all within your power to alert the missing complication to the simians' distress.

    Yours resepctfully,

Her Royal Highness, Princess of Fremantle and its Surrounding Districts, Particularly the Hallway in Front of the Loungeroom Where Everyone Wants to Walk.

What is it? What is it thats you say?

Please ignore the comment by the junior furkid. She has completely forgotten all about her former companion, even though it has only been five days and we're still hoping furkid senior will return.

Perhaps you can help me understand this, CM: Why do cats appear to have such short memories?

  • At 12:10 am, Blogger Mao the Burmese Cat said…

    This is total untruthfullsness.

Cats have very long memories, infinite, in fact.

We remember...unless something important and earth shattering happens.

Such as being shoo'd off the couch, or served filthy pate.
